We require access to your device's camera to identify rocks, minerals and fossils. Crucial Note: Images are processed in real-time to return an identification. We do not store, save, or upload your private photos to our permanent servers unless you choose to save a specimen to your collection.
When you sign up for a subscription, we collect your email address and basic profile information to manage your scan limits and account status.
We use third-party processors (such as Apple In-App Purchases or Google Play Billing) to manage payments. We do not store your credit card details on our servers.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your account information. Because we focus on utility, we minimise the data we keep. We do not track your location unless you explicitly save a find location with a specimen in your collection.

You can revoke camera permissions at any time through your device settings, though this will disable the core scanning functionality.
